Welcome to the Sacramento Valley Women’s Soccer League Website!
IMPORTANT: As a precaution against the spread of Coronavirus, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors have canceled games through the end of this calendar year 2020.
Valley Cup Tournament Announcement
Valley Cup Committee met on March 29 to discuss this year’s tournament
and the California Governor’s current order to stay home and shelter in
place related to COVID-19. Our priority is the health and safety of our
soccer participants – players, referees, spectators and their families.
We are cancelling this year’s tournament. This decision was not made lightly – we recognize the importance of soccer, the connection and networking. Many find it therapeutic and integral to balancing work, life and play.
We are grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you at other soccer events later this year: SALLY Games in October and the SVWSL Indoor Tournament in December.

SVWSL Adopts “Fair Play” in League supported events
“Fair Play” is a complex notion that comprises and embodies a number of values that are fundamental not only to sport but also to everyday life. Respect, friendship, team spirit, fair competition, respect for written and unwritten rules such as equality, integrity, solidarity, tolerance, care, excellence and joy, are the building blocks of “Fair Play” that can be experienced and learned both on and off the field. More information on “Fair Play” is at

What Is Y16+
Also, we want to let you know about a new division for the tournament: Y16+. This division is intended to support younger players and their teams in the situation where they may have “aged-out” based on the change in birthdate ranges for the U19 youth groups. We will group like-skilled teams in this new division, Y16+.
If you know some youth teams looking for a tournament, please have them send an email to SVWSLwanttoplay@gmail.com. Or, they can visit the page below, scroll to the bottom and fill out the form. The information captured in this form is for our league use only in helping players find a team. We do not sell or share proprietary information.
